The web site has games, puzzles and resourceful links to web sites that are safe, fun and educational for children. TENAN is awarded the Spike2000.com Award for being a "Cool web site for kids". The European Schoolnet (EUN) is the framework for the co-operation between European Ministries of Education: a European network of national and other networks. De Wadden feels very honoured to be chosen as School of the Week !, for the second time! We heard that we were chosen because of the fact that we were finalists in the Childnet Awards contest, and so two students and a teacher travelled to Washington DC. Animal Diaries is a project, also co-hosted by Mrs. Joan Goble and students of Cannelton Elementary School. So, we would like to share this award (School of the Week in The Netherlands) with Cannelton. |

TENAN - nl.tree (builder of Dutch Educational Internet Portal Kennisnet) and VECAI published a book with the title: Visies Verwoord - Apenstaartje, noteboek, muis (E-Learning in Nederland: op zoek naar inspiratie). One part of this Dutch book is a Top 100 Best Practices : a list with to their opinion best Educational websites from all over the world. We feel very honoured that TENAN is listed in this list. |
