Hello Kay and Nat! First to Kay...Here are a
couple of suggestions on who to raise money for... Do you
have an area zoo that has special projects for endangered
species...that would be a grea place to start...and it
would be community oriented if it is a zoo in your
area. Also, you might find out about any Forestry
projects that may need some funding help. There are
also some places that ask for people to adopt an animal -
we feel you should be careful with any online
programs...you may want to start as we said above with
area zoos and wildlife preserves. One more idea...animal
shelters need help always! Maybe donating money to
them could help save the lives of some poor
animals...check it out and see (and even animal
hospitals). Now Nat, We think you have a good idea
already... visit your local forestry and ask them about
some statistics for the endangered wildlife in the
area...like, in Indiana, there are always studies being
done on the Indiana Bat. So, we feel that is your best
bet on finding measurable information that you can graph.
Good luck to you both! Joan and René TENAN: The

appreciative! I just need a list of possible animals to
give the students. Thank you. P.S. This project has been
very successful both for my students and for the
elementary students as well.

Hello Carien, on our website we have several links to
other webpages, for instance to the Panda, like
http://www.wnf.nl/speer/dieren/panda/panda.htm (Dutch).
We cannot do more than make these links, alas. It is
impossible for us to give you information about all kinds
of endangered animals. That is why we invite all students
to join our project. So, if you are ready with your
speech, please send it to us and we can post it on our
site. In that way, other students can enjoy your work
too. Good Luck with it !

Panda's. Een goed adres is bijvoorbeeld:
http://www.wnf.nl/speer/dieren/panda/panda.htm . Meer dan
verwijzen kunnen we helaas niet. Het is voor ons
onmogelijk om informatie te verstrekken over alle
bedreigde dieren... vandaar dat we alle

Veel
