Many of you have just started your new school year while others are in the last few weeks of the term. We sure hope that all is going well with any projects you are involved in. We are sending this newsletter out to the group as a whole, but we are also sending out individual letters. The purpose of the individual letters is to find out which participants who signed up last Fall and haven't sent in any reports are wanting to remain in our project. We certainly hope that all of you wish to stay...as we have great plans for our project - which include you all! ;-) One of our plans is to launch a new extension to our site...we will be sending out a call for collaboration to you soon on it. It involves choosing an endangered plant or other species to research. It also involves participants getting more actively involved if they wish, by adopting a wildlife preserve, nature area, or zoo in your area to to projects or research with. We will be providing many ideas along those lines in our newsletters, and we welcome any ideas from you. One thing we need from you at the moment is a listing of nature preserves, zoos, wildlife areas, natural parks, etc...in your area (county, state, province, and even country if possible.) Just email the names, addresses, and URL's if possible, to us at: One page on our new site will be listings of Nature areas. Also...if you know of any endangered plants, or other living organisms not already mentioned on our TENAN site, please feel free to send those as well. We want to thank all of you who have helped us keep our site updated so far and we encourage new and exciting ideas from our participants.
