Atchison Elementary School

Panda

Mrs. Laurie's computer classes from Atchison Elementary School are studying endangered animals. Six of the kindergarten students are showing their panda project. They have followed the birth of Hua Mei, the baby panda born at the San Diego Zoo. They are watching her progress everyday. They are very excited about learning the importance of saving our earth and our endangered animals. Mrs. Anderson's kindergarten class will be collecting pennies to help save the pandas.

Thanks so much. This concludes the panda project, but other animal pictures will be sent in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful project.		 Juf Laurie's computer groep van basisschool Atchison leren over bedreigde dieren. Zes leerlingen van groep 2 laten hun tekeningen zien over hun Panda-project. Ze hebben de geboorte van Hua Mei gevolgd, de baby-Panda die is geboren in de dierentuin van San Diego. Ze volgen het groeiproces iedere dag. Ze zijn erg enthousiast om meer te leren hoe belangrijk het is om onze aarde te beschermen en over bedreigde dieren. Juf Laurie's groep 2 zal geld inzamelen om zo mee te kunnen helpen aan de bescherming van de Panda.

Heel veel bedankt. Hiermee is ons Panda project afgelopen, maar we zullen tekeningen over andere dieren toesturen in de nabije toekomst. Opnieuw bedankt voor dit mooie project.
