The White Siberian Tiger

By Chase

The white Siberian Tiger is the biggest cat in the world. There are 7 types of tigers in various parts in Asia. The white Siberian tiger can weigh more than 600 pounds. The Siberian tiger is silent, powerful creature, beautiful and freighting, a tiger is not a hunter that chases its prey.

The white Siberian tiger are rarely seen at all. They have blue or green eyes, all the rest of the tigers have yellow eyes. The patterns of stripes on the back of the tiger help to identify themselves just like human's fingerprints. Tiger's night vision 6 times better than humans eye, the night vision they have helps them to hunt at night. The stripes also help them to camouflage during the day and night, and lighter in snowy places and darker in hotter places. Tigers have the largest canine teeth of all land-eating animals; tigers have 4 canine teeth that are in the front of their jaw. Their whiskers are very sensitive, because their whiskers are like human fingers. Their whiskers also help them to avoid rocks, trees. Their ears are shaped funny like semi-circled. Tigers are warm-blooded animals just like humans. In the winter the tiger Doubles its fur coat.

They live in all climates. They live in only in Asia 'til the 1800's.There is more than 100 white tigers in the world's zoos today. They hunt people only if natural prey can't be hunted any more. They live in cold, snowy, spruce forests. They live in eastern Russia, and zoos all over the world. They in a boundary of 4000 square miles for enough prey. They also live in jungles and swamps. There are only 50 white Siberian tigers in china.

They eat deer, antelope, wild pigs, and wild cattle. They catch 1 out of 20 animals they go after. They may attack a baby rhinos and baby elephants as well. They also eat small animals such as: Monkeys, peafowl, and frogs. The tigers might attack porcupines, but they'll get quills in their face or boby. Tigers just about always hunts at night. In day the tiger creeps up behide, then it gets ready to leap. Next it leaps to its victim, then it bites its prey in the nerve cord on the spine. The prey quickly dies, but it's not a painful death so the prey doesn't feel a anything. The tiger strikes with it's canine teeth. It's not easy hunting, because the animals runs almost as fast as them.

The Chinese chopped down the forests so the tigers can't live there. Humans are also enemies too, because they hunt for their furs. Some people use their heads as Trophies and rugs and wall hangers. Poachers also sell tiger body parts to the black market for lots of money. Sciences think that 1 tiger is killed each day today. The Chinese put tiger parts in their medicine, they think that the tiger has plant growth and wisdom.

The tiger carries her babies for 3and a half months at a time. The mother has too brought back 3x as more food for her young. The mother also carries her young by the neck; this is not painful because they're a bundle of fur that the mother bites on.

They hunt at night when the animals are asleep so it is easier to hunt. They leave their cubs from 18 months to 2 years old. They mark territory by scratching trees and spraying urine on bushes and trees. The tiger swims in lakes and water holes if it's too hot in the jungle. It sleeps for short times at a time. Their tongue has little tiny spikes on their tongue because it helps them to get bones and meat off of their teeth and paws. They communicate by hissing, spitting, growling, purring, and snarling to each other or to other animals.

The white Siberian tiger is being hunted for it fur and hunted for sport. Poachers sell parts for money. Poachers also sell parts to the black market for lots of money.

Tigers also come in black, with white and yellow stripes. When they are mating it looks like they're fighting.

That is all there is about the white Siberian tiger. Now you know almost all about the white Siberian tiger.
