They can run
but they cant hide. They are the cheetahs, and they're
becoming endangered because of everyday people such as
ourselves. Part of the problem is people kill them for
fur. Loss of habitat from our buildings and farms also
contribute to their near extinction. We need to save them
because they're part of the food chain. If they become
extinct then other animals may become extinct or
endangered, and that could end up affecting us in a
negative way. I think we can save the cheetahs if we gave them a blocked off environment that no humans could enter, if we make selling fur illegal, or have Public Awareness. First of all, we can save the cheetah by giving them a blocked off environment. To make this solution work weC could use a fencing system to block of some of their habitat. Also, we could put up monitors as well. People will be forbidden to enter, and only those who feed the animals may go near, or enter, the fenced off area. This will help because no one will be able to get near them or kill them. Another way to help the cheetahs population is by making fur selling illegal. People who are caught selling, or making, fur will be charged a fine or put in jail. People won't be able to use the fur, and so they wont kill the animal for it. Since ethe animal won't be killed, or die, as often they will have time to reproduce and bring the cheetah population up. This will help the cheetahs to live longer, and not become extinct. Also, we can help save the cheetahs with Public Awareness. We will tell everyone why and how the cheetahs are being killed. This might turn people against the killing of this animal, and the making of fur coats. If no one cares at least they will know what they're doing the next time the buy a fur coat. If it does turn them against fur coats then maybe when no one buys them the stores and manufacturers will stop selling and making them. Of all these I think the best solution would be to give the cheetahs a blocked of environment. I think this would work best because it keeps people away from the animals for sure. People can break the law, and they don't have to care about what is said during Public Awareness, but they won"t be able to break through the fence, or go near the cheetahs. If someone doesn't do something soon the cheetahs can become extinct. And once something's extinct it never comes back... EVER!!!!! |
