Cougars


Special- by the age of 20 to 22 months, cougars learn to stalk.
Endangered in sixteen ninety-four, Connecticut paid other people to kill  cougars. Cougars are also endangered because people are cutting down forests  where they live. 
Cougars are part of the cat  family. 
Habitat- cougars live in North America in prairies, forests and   mountains. 
Cougars eat anything they can catch including  deer, moose,  mountain goats, and porcupine. 
Cougars have small  heads and long necks.  
Cougars are golden brown and they have patches of black and white fur under  their nose that looks like butterflies on its ears and tails. 
Cougar babies  are born from their  mother. Cougar moms usually have three or four cubs.  
Predator bears eat kittens. 
Cougars live eleven years or longer..
