Cougars stalk prey. Cougars are in the feline family. Cougars have small heads and low slung bodies. A male weighs 160 pounds. Cougars climb up trees and leap onto animals. They live on grassland and semi-deserts. The cougars favorite prey is deer. Cougars live up to 11 years or older. they are endangered and may be gone by the year 2000. .
