Eagles
| Did you know that the eagle can dive to 100 mph? Their nests are 600
pounds and 20 feet long. The eagle is 30 pounds. It is in danger by man for its meat. They
are about 30 to 40 inches long and the wing span is 6 to 7 feet. The bald eagle eats fish.
The golden eagle eats small animals. The eagle lives to be 20 years old in the wild and
more in the zoo. It has feathers covering it and lives in swamps and trees |
