Gibbons
Did you know that gibbons live in trees 90 feet tall? Hunters destroy the woods. The silvery gibbon is in the most danger. The gibbons belong in the monkey family because they have a tail. Gibbons live in Asia in the low, wet forests. They eat mainly plant fruit, flowers, buds, and insects. The colors that they are, are gray, black, brown, silver or cream. They communicate by filling their neck up with air and letting out a “whoop.” They are born alive. Gibbons have one baby every three or four years. They are rarely attacked by predator or hunting animals. They live up to twelve years. . |
