Gibbons

Did you know that the gibbon is a fascinating animal, because it is a lesser ape? It’s color are gray, black, brown and cream colored. The gibbon is also long and slim and it weighs up from nine pounds to nearly 30 pounds.
The Siamang is the largest gibbon. It is mostly black, sometimes pink or gray. The gibbon lives in Southeast Asia, Thailand, Indonesia, Java, and Cambodia. The prey is mostly plants and insects. Baby gibbons usually have one baby every three or four years. At the age of five or six a young gibbon leaves. The gibbon’ s enemies are tigers, leopards, or humans. The gibbon is endangered because it’s habitat has been destroyed by humans. The forests and farmland in Cambodia are in the greatest danger. To help we need to save enough forests.
Dutch translation will be added soon.
