Jaguars
Jaguars are a type of big cat. Jaguars have orange fur and black spots. They are 30 inches tall and weigh up to 350 pounds. They live in rainy places in the south. They also live in Central America. Jaguars live in the rain forest because they like to swim and like to climb trees. Jaguars eat turtles, deer, mice and mainly rodents. Mother jaguars have 4 cubs a year. For the cubs to stay healthy, they drink their mom’s milk. The jaguar’s enemies are people because the people kill the jaguars for their fur. There are not a lot of jaguars left. Some people make parks for the jaguars. If you want to help the jaguars, tell the people not to kill the jaguars. |
