In the 1980’s there were 400,000 koalas. In the 1990’s there were 4008 people killed for koala fur in the United States. Did you know that George Washington said, “no more koala fur and no more killing koalas.”? Koalas are also nocturnal. Did you know that joeys ride on their mother’s backs to go to places?
