Lions

Lions live in Africa and in India. They live in tall grass and in
savannas in the wild. There are only 250 Asian lions left. they weight 300 to 400 pounds. Lions have a mane, fangs, and claws. They are light yellow and brownish black. They are one of the 4 great cats. they are the second largest cat in the world. Lions can run 35 miles per hour. They jump 12 feet. These cats can roar. The mother lion is pregnant for four months. She can have two to five cubs. they are blind and helpless. The females hunt. They eat zebras and bigger animals. The males guard the food. Males eat first and the cubs eat last. They are carnivores. They can live up to 25 years . I hope people stop hunting and killing lions.
