Orangutans

Did you know that orangutans live in trees their whole life? Their bones heal faster then our bones.
Their homes are being destroyed for farms and  villages.
They belong to the great apes family.
They live in the rain  forests.
They eat figs, insects, eggs and flowers.
Orangutans have reddish  brown hair. They are not loud and friendly as chimpanzees.
They have to do  sign language to communicate with us.
When they are born they have no hair.  Orangutan babies learn to be orangutans from their mothers. Baby orangutans  get eaten by pythons and wild pigs.
They live in Southeast Asia.
Dutch translation will be added soon.
