Seals
Seals have special eye sight so they can see under water. The seal is endangered because people are killing the seals. Some seals live in groups. Always seals live in the seal family. Seals live on rocky shores, and on the sandy beaches of California where water comes up. Seals eat krill, crabs, small fish, clams, snails, and octopuses. Seals look like a smooth blob of hair and a seal with whiskers looks really cute. It has holes in its ears to hear and barks like a dog. The baby seal came out of its mommy, not from an egg. They are born on ice and snow and dads don’t care for baby seals. Seals are very nice. Babies are called pups and are very small. They weigh four and a half pounds and are born on ice or snow with a very woolly coat. The seal’s enemies are polar bears, killer whales, arctic foxes, and sharks. Seals are very lovable animals. |
