Tigers

Did you know that 100,000 tigers lived in the world’s forests and now  there are less than 5,000?
Tigers are endangered because most bengal tigers  are found in zoos and they are used for fur coats! Also poachers which are  people who kill tigers. More tigers are killed than born.
The mother tigers  are very good with their babies. The mother tigers will kill anything that  approaches their babies. The babies will play stalking, pouncing, and other  games with their brothers or sisters. Also the babies learn how to hunt.
The  tigers live in Asian countries, India, or Siberia.
Tigers will eat things  such as wild pigs and other animals.
Usually tigers have orange fur with  brown or black stripes or white fur with brown or black stripes too.
One  tiger can hunt better than a whole group of tigers which might make too much  noise.
When a baby tiger is born it is blind and it weighs 3 pounds. The  babies spend most of their time sleeping or drinking.
A tiger’s predators are  poachers.
A tiger weighs 300 -800 pounds. A tiger’s height is over three feet  tall.
Tigers live 25 years in a zoo and they live less in the wild.
Dutch translation will be added soon.
