Common Name : Golden Bandicoot

Scientific Name : Isoodon auratus

Habitat :
Mostly on islands off north-western Australia and some parts of the north of Western Australia.

Diet :
Mostly invertebrates such as centipedes, termites and beetle larvae.

Size :
300mm in body length and a tail of 120mm. It weighs 670g.

Danger :

Grazing animals and introduced preditors are the problem.
