Common Name : Western Barred Bandicoot

Scientific Name : Perameles bougainville

Habitat :
Sand dunes of islands off the coast of Western Australia.

Diet :
Eats mainly insects but sometimes eats roots, seeds and herbs.

Size :
This is a small bandicoot reaching about 300mm.

Danger :

Cats and foxes are the main problem.
