Common Name : Greater Stick-nest Rat

Scientific Name : Leporillus conditor

Habitat :
Lives in open woodland in islands off the South Australian coast.

Diet :
Eats fruits and succulent plants.

Size :
Grows to about 430mm and the tail is 180mm of this.

Danger :

Aborigines used to hunt and eat these rats and after the sheep and cattle came these rats had fewer places to live.
