Common Name : Regent Honeyeater

Scientific Name : Xanthomyza phrygia

Habitat :
Open forests and woodlands in Victoria and New South Wales.

Diet :
Eats nectar from woodland trees but will sometimes try orchard fruits if nectar is scarce.

Size :
Reaches about 200 to 230mm.

Danger :

Logging of forests has reduced the number of nectar producing trees.
