Common Name : Western Long-billed Corella

Scientific Name : Cacatua pastinator pastinator

Habitat :
Lives in woodlands beside permanent water courses in south-western Western Australia.

Diet :
Eats mainly the bulbs and seeds of sedges, rushes and some grasses.

Size :
It grows to about 400mm

Danger :

Trees with nesting hollows have been cut down, farmers have killed Corellas and trappers have illegally caught Corellas to sell.
