| The Mount Graham Red Squirrel is an endangered animal that lives in Arizona. It also lives in Canada and Alaska. It is grayish brown in color. It is 8 inches long with a 6 inch long fluffy tail. The mount Graham red Squirrel is a mammal that eats seeds, mushrooms, fungi, and other plants. The mother has about 2 litters a years with 3 to 4 babies in each litter. The squirrel is endangered because people chop down the fir trees that it lives and makes nests in. The squirrel also gets its seeds from the cones of the fir trees. There are only about 200 Mount Graham Red Squirrels left. | Dutch translation follows |
