Alabama cave shrimp
| Alabama cave shrimp are very small and have a curved shape. The
Alabama cave shrimp is totally colorless.
Many are killed every year from water drainage and water shortages. Only 25 shrimp have ever been observed. The length of the Alabama cave shrimp is 20 mm long (0.8 inches). The way that we can save them is if people would
stop draining lakes and rivers. Then there would be a lot of them left. |
