Wood Stork

The Wood Stork is an odd looking bird. It is about three feet tall.
It's mostly white with black feathers under it's wings. The Wood Stork has long yellow legs and an unusual bald head. Even though it's a large bird it flies gracefully with it's neck out.
To feed, the Wood Stork shuffles its feet to muddy the water and feel the fish swimming by then quickly snaps it up. They also eat insects, frogs, and snakes.
The Wood Stork lives in South Florida in the Everglades. Wood Storks live in large groups or flocks. They are endangered because there is not enough fish for them to eat and raise young birds.
