Gecko

Metu College - Turkey

One endangered animal is the “gecko”. It’s a member of reptiles and it lives in every continent. The size of the gecko is 25 cm. The gecko eats crickets, king worms, jumbo meal worms, wax worms, butter worms, small mice, and cockroaches. Snakes, owls and scorpions eat them. The oldest gecko is 28 years old! They can break their legs and their tail can grow but the new one won’t be as cool as the old one.

The geckos are endangered animals because their habitat is destroyed by pollution.

We can save them if we don’t pollute their habitat  and if we punish companies or factories which pollute the environment, we will have saved them.
